1) Installare gli S.M.A.R.T. tools

smartmontools contains utility programs (smartctl, smartd) to control/monitor storage systems using the Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology System (S.M.A.R.T.) built into most modern ATA and SCSI disks. It is derived from smartsuite.
il comando in ubuntu è:

sudo apt-get install smartmontools

2) Verificare il numero di cicli già effettuati:

sudo smartctl -d ata --all /dev/sda sudo smartctl-d ata - all / dev / sda dal nome 99-hdd-spin-fix.sh nelle cartelle /etc/acpi/suspend.d/

/etc/acpi/resume.d/ /etc/acpi/start.d/

con il contenuto di:
#!/bin/sh
hdparm -B 254 /dev/sda
Da notare che ho preferito usare 254 anzichè 255 perchè pare che per molti hd il valore di 255 non sia utilizzabile...

Dite che sono esagerato? Forse sì :)
